How has the private sector responded to the push by public institutions to strengthen it?<\/p>\n

The 2026 edition of \u201cConnact Piano Mattei \u2013 New Energies between Europe and Africa\u201d <\/strong>will provide an opportunity to meet and discuss the progress and future developments of the policies promoted by Italy and the EU to strengthen cooperation between the two continents.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0institutional speeches<\/strong>\u00a0that will open the event will focus on this topic. This will be followed by a\u00a0networking dinner<\/strong>, at which the organisations and companies sponsoring Connact will meet\u00a0diplomatic representatives<\/strong>\u00a0from African countries and Italian institutions. The aim is to foster dialogue in order to identify new areas for investment and create opportunities for developing economic and social relations on energy, defence, security, technological development <\/strong>and climate change mitigation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
