European policies for the transport sector are undergoing a transformation. The goal of sustainability and decarbonisation remains a constant, but the changed international situation affecting the supply of raw materials, the crisis in the automotive sector, technological developments and new political balances are leading to a redesign of the route to achieving this goal.
What is the new path? What contribution will Italy make, and how will national policies be combined with the EU ones? What synergies will be created between industrial and transport policies? How will the key concepts of simplification and regulatory harmonization take shape? How will transportation, road, rail, maritime, and air communication routes evolve, along with the intermodal connections that link them? What support will infrastructure modernisation receive from the next EU budget and the Sustainable Transport Investment Plan?
Connact Mobility & Logistics 2025 will seek answers in a discussion between representatives of institutions and stakeholders in the transport sector.
The event is organised in collaboration with the European Parliament in Italy and enjoys the highest institutional patronage. The promoters of the initiative are: Port system authority for the central-northern Tyrrhenian Sea, Autostrade per l’Italia, Confetra, Fincantieri, IP Api group, Pirelli.
