After the crisis in trade relations with Russia and the frictions that arose on the same front with the United States, which have adopted a tariff policy, Italy and the European Union are stepping up their efforts to expand relations with other international partners. In this context, Asia and Oceania are strategic regions, with which strong relations already exist and which at the same time offer significant room for further development.
To help build new opportunities for cooperation, the Connact Asia-Oceania event will be an opportunity for discussion and exchange between the productive sector and Italian institutions and diplomatic representatives from several countries in the Asia-Pacific area.
The event will open with a number of institutional speeches. This will be followed by a networking dinner, during which Connact’s sponsoring organizations and companies will meet the diplomatic representatives of the participating countries. The aim is to foster dialogue in order to identify new areas of investment and create opportunities for the development of economic and social relations.
List of invited embassies:
Australia, Republic of Korea, the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Thailand, Vietnam.
The list of companies and organizations promoting the Connact system that will be invited is available at the following link: https://www.connact.it/en/promoters/
